Session-I (45 Minutes):

Numerical and Mathematical Ability = 20 Questions

Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving = 20 Questions

Session-II (45 Minutes)

General Awareness (25 questions), English Language and Comprehension (25 questions)

  • Each question carries 3 mark.
  • Negative marking: There’s no negative marking in Session-I. However, in Session-II, one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: To pass the Computer-Based Exam, candidates need to get at least 30% marks if they are from the UR category, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for all other categories in both Session-I and Session-II.

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT) Same as MTS + PET/PST

  1. For the post of MTS, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Session-II of CBE. The final merit list will be prepared solely based on candidate’s performance in Session-II.
  2. For the post of Havaldar, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:7 (vacancies: candidates) for appearing in PET/ PST and on the basis of their performance in Session-II of CBE.
  3. For Havaldar posts, the final merit list will be created based on candidates’ performance in Session-II of the Computer-Based Examination, provided they have successfully qualified the PET/PST round.
